Pumps, fans, turbines, hydraulic couplings are among the products where CFD analysis is used extensively in the design process.

Using CFD analysis high efficiency turbomachines can be designed.

​

• In power consuming flow machines (pumps, fans), water or air flow rate, head, torque, power, efficiency can be calculated based on the rotation speed,

• In power generating flow machines (hyro turbines, wind turbines), torque, power, efficiency can be calculated based on head, flow rate and rotation speed.

​​

In turbomachines working with water (pumps, turbines, hydraulic couplings), undesirable events such as cavitation and erosion can be detected by CFD analysis.
